Base trek price: from USD 1,299 per person (shared group)
This base price covers the core trek setup run at a sensible pace, with standard accommodation and meals included on trek days.
What affects the final price

- Group size (shared vs private arrangements)
- Route variations and total number of days
- Accommodation choices in certain locations
- Optional support such as porters
We don’t use fixed “bronze / silver / gold” packages. Instead, we confirm the base trek first, then adjust details where appropriate.

You can reserve your place by paying a USD 300 deposit, which is deducted from the final trek cost. The remaining balance is confirmed once dates, logistics, and any adjustments are agreed.
Payment in full is also available if you prefer.
Overview: What This Trek Feels Like
The Annapurna Circuit is less about technical difficulty and more about endurance, rhythm, and variation. Days unfold gradually, moving through changing landscapes — from lower valleys and villages to high alpine terrain — with the sense of completing a true circuit rather than walking in and out of a single valley.
What makes this trek challenging isn’t constant steep climbing, but the accumulation of long walking days, steady altitude gain, and the need to manage energy well as you approach the high pass.
The crossing of Thorong La (5,416 m) is the defining moment. It’s a long, early start and a sustained effort, but when paced correctly it feels earned rather than rushed.
We run this trek in a way that feels controlled and deliberate — allowing time for adaptation, keeping daily distances realistic, and treating the high point as a process rather than a single hard push.
This is a trek for people who value continuity, patience, and the satisfaction of completing a journey that unfolds over time.

Is This Trek Right for You?
The Annapurna Circuit is a strong choice if you’re looking for a long, continuous trek that rewards patience and steady effort rather than speed.
This trek is a good fit if you:
- Want a true circuit trek that moves through changing landscapes and regions
- Are comfortable walking for multiple days in a row at a steady pace
- Prefer a plan that respects altitude and recovery rather than pushing hard every day
- Value completion and flow over rushing to tick off highlights
This trek is not a good fit if you:
- Want to compress the route or skip key stages to save time
- Are looking for a luxury or low-effort experience
- Are uncomfortable with long walking days or basic teahouse accommodation
- Expect the high pass to be something you can “power through” without preparation
The Annapurna Circuit works best for trekkers who understand that the experience builds over time — and that the hardest day is only manageable if the earlier days are run properly.
Route & Pacing (How We Run It)
The Annapurna Circuit rewards steady decision-making. The best versions of this trek feel controlled: early days are used to build rhythm, altitude is gained gradually, and the approach to the high pass is treated as a process — not a single “big day” you force your way through.
What we prioritise
- A consistent pace early so the later stages don’t become a grind
- Sensible staging before Thorong La, with enough recovery built in
- Flexibility for conditions (weather, trail flow, and how the group is coping)
- Clear daily coordination so distances and expectations stay realistic
What we don’t do
- We don’t run compressed itineraries that trade safety for speed.
- We don’t treat the pass day as something you can muscle through without preparation.
Thorong La is the high point of the circuit and the day everything leads toward. When the trek is paced properly, that day feels earned and manageable — not chaotic.

Typical Itinerary (High-Level)
The Annapurna Circuit is run as a continuous route rather than a fixed checklist of stops. Exact staging depends on the direction of travel, pacing, and current trail conditions, but the overall flow remains consistent.
A typical trek follows this pattern:
- Travel from Kathmandu to the Besisahar region, then begin trekking
- Gradual ascent through lower valleys and villages, building rhythm over the early days
- Continued progression into higher alpine terrain as the circuit narrows
- Thorong La Pass (5,416 m) crossed after proper staging and preparation
- Descent into the Mustang region
- Finish the trek at Jomsom or a nearby endpoint, with onward travel to Pokhara
We confirm the full day-by-day itinerary once your dates, group size, and pacing preferences are known. This allows us to adapt the route to current conditions rather than locking in a rigid schedule too early.

Safety & Acclimatisation (Non-negotiables)
High altitude changes how the body responds to effort, rest, and recovery. While the Annapurna Circuit does not stay at extreme altitude for as long as some treks, the crossing of Thorong La still demands respect and preparation.
Our approach is straightforward:
- Acclimatisation is built into the plan and not treated as optional
- Daily pacing is adjusted based on how the group is responding
- Guides have the authority to slow the pace, add rest, or modify plans if needed
- Decisions are made on the ground, based on conditions rather than schedules
The goal is always the same: a trek that finishes well, with energy left at the end — not one that simply reaches the high point as fast as possible.
This is why we focus on a small number of established routes and run them repeatedly with experienced local teams.

FAQs
Is the deposit refundable?
If we cannot confirm your trek for your preferred dates, your deposit is refundable. If you cancel after confirmation, refund terms depend on timing and committed logistics.
How long is the Annapurna Circuit trek?
Most itineraries run 12–16 days, depending on pacing, side routes, and whether additional acclimatisation or rest days are included.
Do I need trekking experience?
You don’t need technical trekking experience, but you should be comfortable walking for multiple days in a row and prepared for high-altitude conditions.
Is Thorong La difficult?
Thorong La is demanding due to altitude rather than technical terrain. Proper acclimatisation and an early, steady crossing are key to a safe and successful day.
Can the itinerary be adjusted?
We can adjust pacing and comfort within sensible limits, but we do not compress the trek in ways that compromise acclimatisation or safety.
